Lucky Dog Racing Canada now powered by Ultraray Motorsports

OAKVILLE, ON, 7 Jan, 2021

Ultraray Motorsports of Oakville is pleased to announce it is forming an alliance with the Lucky Dog Racing Canada endurance series and becoming their series sponsor in 2021.

An excited Ultraray CEO Jon Dunski had this to say after the announcement, “We have competed in the LDRC series previously and now to forge an even closer alliance with them it is truly special for Jason and I. Considering the year we had in 2020, Charles and his team made the best of things and grabbed the opportunity with both hands. They put on great events considering the impedements in their way and that is partially what got us thinking about being part of their success. Their first ever event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park was high of the year and we look forward to racing there again this year but with the opportunity to have our friends and family present at our home track.”

Charles Carvalho the Lucky Dog CEO replied, “We are very proud to introduce Ultraray Motorsports as our series sponsor for 2021 here in Canada. They are always stocked up in all of the things that keep us safe, cool, powered up and more! Most of you already know them and love them from previous seasons and all the help they have been to us during that time. Well now they’re back (with more cars too!) and ready for a bigger and better season both on and off track!

Welcome back Jon and Jason Dunski our series would not be the same without you.”

At that time the 2021 schedule was announced with the series opening up with a brand new event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on April 17/18. Carvalho explained, “For the first time ever the LDRC opens the year with a weekend that is not an endurance race. Our focus for this event is ito allow teams to test and tune before our big May race and with the help of HIP Motorsports, we will be putting a big emphasis on improving the race-craft of our drivers and teams. HIP will deliver this through off-track instruction, on-track exercises, and/or lead-follow instruction.

HIP Motorsports will be offering a unique training program over the winter at their new facility in Ajax, using race simulators and classroom-style instruction. HIP and LDRC are teaming up to provide ways to develop driver skills off-track in a safe and affordable manner. We will also be providing incentives to LDRC racers to offset some of the cost for this program. Look for a follow-up email on this with all the details, soon.
